Waiting on Wednesday: Prodigy by Marie Lu

Prodigy by Marie Lu
Published Released: Jan. 29, 2013

The Elector Primo of the Republic has died, with his son assuming power over what’s left of the USA’s West Coast as it teeters on full-blown chaos. June and Day join up with Patriot rebels so they can rescue Day’s brother and head east for the Colonies. In order to help, though, the rebels want June and Day to kill the new Elector, who may pose an even greater threat than his father

Far off I know, but I do want to know how this story will continue.

Cover Reveal: Everbound by Brodi Ashton

Is this not gorgeous? AH, yeah it is! I absolutely LOVED the Everneath cover especially the dress. I'm glad they kept the same concept with the smoke and tendrils. Can't wait for the release!

Waiting on Wednesday: Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger

Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger
Published Release: February 13, 2013

It's one thing to learn to curtsy properly. It's quite another to learn to curtsy and throw a knife at the same time. Welcome to finishing school.

Fourteen-year-old Sophronia is the bane of her mother's existence. Sophronia is more interested in dismantling clocks and climbing trees than proper etiquette at tea--and god forbid anyone see her atrocious curtsy. Mrs. Temminnick is desperate for her daughter to become a proper lady. She enrolls Sophronia in Mademoiselle Geraldine's Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality.

But little do Sophronia or her mother know that this is a school where ingenious young girls learn to finish, all right--but it's a different kind of finishing. Mademoiselle Geraldine's certainly trains young ladies in the finer arts of dance, dress, and etiquette, but also in the other kinds of finishing: the fine arts of death, diversion, deceit, espionage, and the modern weaponries. Sophronia and her friends are going to have a rousing first year at school.

LOVE THE TITLE, LOVE THE PICTURE!
Ugh, but I hate that I have to wait until next year. But, I'll do it anyway. This is Gail's first ever YA series, and it's based 25 years into the past before her hit UNF series Parasol Protectorate.

Spark by Brigid Kemmerer on Netgalley!

Gabriel Merrick plays with fire. Literally.

Sometimes he can even control it. And sometimes he can’t. Like the fire that killed his parents.

Gabriel has always had his brothers to rely on, especially his twin, Nick. But when an arsonist starts wreaking havoc on their town, all the signs point to Gabriel. Only he’s not doing it.

More than Gabriel’s pride is at stake -- this could cost him his family, maybe his life. And no one seems to hear him. Except a shy sophomore named Layne, a brainiac who dresses in turtlenecks and jeans and keeps him totally off balance. Layne understands family problems, and she understands secrets. She has a few of her own.

Gabriel can’t let her guess about his brothers, about his abilities, about the danger that’s right at his heels. But there are some risks he can’t help taking.

The fuse is lit…
